Installation paths for angler
We offer three ways to access angler on mobile. Android users can download our APK directly from our website and install it via unknown sources. iOS users open angler in Safari, add it to the home screen as a web app, and access it like a native app. Web users visit angler.bet in any mobile browser and use the responsive interface without installation.

Step-by-step installation
- Download: Visit angler.bet on your phone, tap the menu, and select your device type (Android APK / iOS / Web).
- Install: For Android, enable unknown sources in Settings → Security, then tap the APK file. For iOS, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. For web, bookmark the page or add it to your home screen via the browser menu.
- Register or login: Open angler, create a new account or sign in with your existing username and password.
- Verify and deposit: Complete identity verification (upload ID photo), add a payment method (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank transfer), and make your first deposit.
App versus browser: which is right for you
Our native Android APK offers offline game history caching, so you can review past bets without an internet connection. Push notifications alert you when a live-dealer table opens, when Liga 1 or Piala AFF odds shift, or when a new slot promotion launches. The app also loads slightly faster because it stores assets locally. However, the APK requires enabling unknown sources and periodic manual updates.
The iOS web app and browser versions require no installation and update automatically. They work on any device with a modern browser. The trade-off is that push notifications are less reliable on iOS web apps, and you cannot cache game history offline. For most users, the browser version is sufficient; the APK is preferred if you want offline access and instant notifications.
Device compatibility and requirements
We support Android 7.0 and above on phones and tablets. For iOS, we support iOS 12 and above via Safari web app. Web browser access works on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on any device with a screen size of 320 pixels or larger. We recommend at least 100 MB of free storage for the Android APK and a stable 4G or WiFi connection for live-dealer streaming.
Common installation issues and solutions
If you see "Unknown sources" error on Android, go to Settings → Apps & Notifications → Advanced → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find your browser, and toggle the permission on. If the APK download stalls, clear your browser cache and try again. For iOS, if the web app does not appear on your home screen after tapping Add to Home Screen, ensure you are using Safari (not Chrome) and that you have at least 50 MB of free storage. If you cannot log in after installation, verify that your username and password are correct, and check that your device time and date are set automatically.
Data, permissions, and account security
We at angler request permission to access your device's camera (for identity verification photo upload), microphone (for live-dealer audio), and location (for jurisdiction compliance checks). We do not sell or share your data with third parties. All transactions are encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. After you log in, your session token expires after subject to verification of inactivity for security. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) via email or SMS if available in your account settings.
